Our client is a leading provider of smoke control & fire detection systems for the fire safety industry delivering installation projects in the London and South East area, who are looking to recruit a junior CAD technician to join their busy team. Located at their offices in North Kent, candidates will need to live within a reasonable, commutable distance to the office. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in the design of fire alarms and smoke venting systems, from initial concept to final delivery of designs, always supporting the project team. Candidates for this role will need to be experienced in the use of CAD software, with a good understanding of electrical and mechanical principals, being able to work under instruction and supervision from senior staff. Good organisational and communication skills are essential, as it the willingness to learn about Fire Safety, Fire Alarm and Smoke Venting Systems and the relevant standards and codes of practice. This interesting opportunity comes with a basic salary of £25,000 plus bonus, training and development and package including optional private health plan.
