This national fire systems installer is recruiting a fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer to be based at a large site in Berkshire. Candidates for this role will be responsible for commissioning systems in accordance with BS 5839 pt1, BAFE SP203 & LPS 1014 installation rules for full systems and modifications, confirming compliance of the installed system with agreed specification. Added responsibilities include completing all documentation in accordance with company policy to ensure compliance, complying with all H&S and environmental policies, attending toolbox talks when necessary, and undertaking training as required by the employer.
Candidates will need proven ability to commission complex, networked systems, proven knowledge of BS 5839, FIA certification (or equivalent), advanced fault diagnosis skills, excellent communication skills, prepare to work additional hours when requested and ideally have worked in an industrial environment.
