Fire & Security Engineer Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for commissioning, installing, servicing, and fault-finding fire and security systems across industrial and commercial sites.
There are also single discipline positions available for Fire and for Security.
Rates & Benefits:
- Service and Install works – £240/day
- Commissioning Engineer – Enhanced rates / day
- Bonus scheme offered
- Majority of works are outside IR35
- Multiple system type service, repair and/or install - Fire, Intruder Alarm, CCTV, Access Control and DDA systems.
- Commission and install fire alarms, emergency lighting, and security systems.
- Conduct routine servicing and maintenance of installed systems.
- Troubleshoot and rectify faults in both fire and/or security systems.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Good communication skills are required as most of the role will involve being in a customer facing environment.
- The ability to work alone and effectively organise your time.
- Your own tools and PPE
- A full driving licence
