Director of Sales APAC
Open to be based Hong Kong, Singapore, KL, Bangkok or Shanghai

The Client is a fire & security integrator offering solutions to clients across the region. They have a reputation for delivering industry-leading enterprise systems to the corporate sector, healthcare, education, government, data centers, and retail. They are transforming safety, and security, through technical innovation.

The Role:
You will be responsible for managing and growing sales in APAC. This position will report directly to the senior leadership and work closely with teams in India, China and Japan. There is an established impressive client base that will be part of your portfolio to grow.

The role drives the growth needs of the business by the identification of new opportunities in direct end user, consultant and specifier channels. The role will also involve becoming a trusted adviser to existing client's, communicating technology innovations developed inhouse.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Create and execute a business development plan to grow business in APAC.
• Work closely with the consultant and specifier community to ensure for inclusion on security tenders beyond its existing global clients
• Identify new customers for services based on its extensive cross vertical experience.
• Manage the sales forecasting process
• Help identify new geographical territories for expansion
• Work closely with technology partners to ensure that business opportunities are maximised .

Preferred Qualifications:
• 15+ years of experience in the security industry.
• Proven record of driving sales growth
• Experience of building a team
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Preferred location – Major city in APAC e.g. Hong Kong, Singapore, KL, Bangkok, Shanghai
• Able to travel internationally up to 25% of the time to client sites and industry events
