Job Description
This leading London based fire and security systems installer and service provider are looking to recruit a Service Lead/Team Manager will lead and help develop the service department to ensure exceptional delivery of predominantly fire alarm maintenance and service. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operation, driving operational efficiency, and maintaining compliance. The position will have a hands-on engineering element as well as a leadership element, focusing on customer delivery, team performance, and achieving service-level targets as well as working as a service engineer for part of the time The Senior Service Lead/Team Manager will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, budget management, and fostering a culture of safety and excellence. Responsibilities include mentoring, reviewing and implementing training for engineers, ensuring compliance to BS 5839, NSI & BAFE, overseeing scheduling and resource allocation, maintain client relationships and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and tracking KPI’s and preparing reports for the senior management team.
Applicants will need to be from the fire and security industry with excellent technical knowledge of large, networked fire alarm systems and BS 5839, have had previous experience with supervising teams of engineers with good communication skills. The successful candidate will receive a basic salary to £52,000 plus vehicle or allowance, all public transport fares covered, some overtime, 25 days holiday, private health & pension. This role provides a brilliant opportunity to get into a service management.
