About the role:
-Merton is looking for a results-focussed professional to work within its 24 hour CCTV Control Room.
-The role will include lone-working, as well as working with colleagues. The candidate needs to be able to prioritize and adjust their work accordingly.
-CTV SIA licence is required for this role.
-The post is subject to DBS check.

About you:
The successful candidate will have experience of CCTV operations, partnership working and problem solving. The candidate will be required to work a 24 hour shift pattern that includes weekdays, weekends, day shifts and night shifts. The role includes shift allowance on top of the base salary.
Working within a fast-paced CCTV Control Room using analogue, digital and wireless cameras alongside CCTV colleagues and other partners, you will be responsible for undertaking proactive CCTV patrols, responding to developing situations, capturing best possible evidence and liaising on a daily basis with police colleagues. Customer focus and results focus, as well as excellent communication skills, are key.
Prospective candidates should have experience of operating CCTV, liaising with police and partners, using police radio and producing evidence for use in criminal prosecutions.
