ISP's recognise and understand the need of the organisation, providing a link role in communication and facilitating good working relationships. The Internet is by far the biggest marketplace for active counterfeit operations and will play a keep part of our client’s efforts to tackle crime committed through this form of media.
Candidate profile: That person will be IT literate and have thorough understanding of the internet and how ISPs work (perhaps having worked for them currently or previously). Capable of expressing our clients’ needs and wants both operationally and in terms of the wider picture of ISP responsibility.
Commercially astute with some business acumen and significant influencing skills would be absolutely necessary along with excellent communication skills having liaised with these organisations on a regular basis.
Although there are some combined political lobbying efforts being made by the Alliance et al, the person would also need to be politically adept and understand how to intensify work specifically for the interests of our client whilst still working within the wider environment.
